It's no accident that Comey's tossing out the FBI manual with regard to Hillary,

and disregarding all historical precedent, in inserting himself right into the peak of a Presidential election.

What is a one-word description of his behavior? SEXIST.

She is an unprecedented candidate -- the first woman who is likely to become President -- and the witch hunt is on.

Comey and the Rethugs in Congress are responding to Hillary as some men always do -- with the sexism and misogyny that tells them they are allowed to treat women differently than men; that the normal rules don't apply to women or to their treatment of this woman.

Simply put, they feel ENTITLED to make up new rules as they go along, faced with the special threat they unconsciously perceive in Hillary -- not just a Democrat, but the most powerful female Democrat in history.

To understand this reaction, start with what social psychologists call “precarious manhood” theory. The theory posits that while womanhood is typically viewed as natural and permanent, manhood must be “earned and maintained.” Because it is won, it can also be lost. Scholars at the University of South Florida and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign reported that when asked how someone might lose his manhood, college students rattled off social failures like “losing a job.” When asked how someone might lose her womanhood, by contrast, they mostly came up with physical examples like “a sex-change operation” or “having a hysterectomy.”

Among the emasculations men most fear is subordination to women. (Some women who prize traditional gender roles find male subordination threatening too.) This fear isn’t wholly irrational. A 2011 study in the Journal of Experimental Social Psychology found that men who have female supervisors earn less, and enjoy less prestige, than men whose bosses are male.

Given the anxieties that powerful women provoke, it’s not surprising that both men and women judge them more harshly than they judge powerful men. A 2010 study by Victoria L. Brescoll and Tyler G. Okimoto found that people’s views of a fictional male state senator did not change when they were told he was ambitious. When told that a fictional female state senator was ambitious, however, men and women alike “experienced feelings of moral outrage,” such as contempt, anger, and disgust.

But while both men and women are often critical of powerful women, men are more likely to react aggressively. A study published last year by researchers at Northwestern, Washington State, and Bocconi University, in Italy, reported that men negotiating with a female hiring manager demanded more money than those negotiating with a male one. Another recent study, this one by University of South Florida researchers, showed that after men had their gender identity threatened, they placed riskier bets. Feeling subordinate to women may also lead men to act recklessly in their private lives. According to the University of Connecticut’s Christin Munsch, men who are economically dependent on their wives are more likely than others to be unfaithful.

hell, there's even plenty of women who are voting for the "man" because they don't think a woman should be in the white house, as the lady interviewed the other day said.

then you have some women wearing "donald can grab my pussy" or other deplorable sayings. I really feel badly for their family to have their sisters/daughters make such fucking fools of themselves by supporting such a foul PIG of a "man".

SO, of course, he's gotta throw his hand into the process to try and keep Donnie close. I bet Donnie's people told him if he did this, he'd be set!

...between Trump and the Russians despite evidence of Russian interference.

http://www.politico.com/story/2016/10/democrats-fbi-donald-trump-campaign-hacks-229816

Top Democrats on four House committees today asked the FBI to investigate connections between Donald Trump's presidential campaign and the alleged Russian hacks of Democratic organizations and figures, citing new comments from a Trump confidant.

"Troubling new evidence appears to show that the Trump campaign not only was aware of cyber attacks against Secretary Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman, but was openly bragging about it as far back as August," said Reps. Elijah Cummings from Government Affairs, John Conyers from Judiciary, Eliot Engel from Foreign Affairs and Bennie Thompson from Homeland Security.
Story Continued Below

"For months, we have been asking the FBI to examine links between the Trump campaign and illegal Russian efforts to affect our election, including interviewing Trump advisor Roger Stone," they said. "In light of this new evidence — and these exceptional circumstances — we call on the FBI to fully investigate and explain to the American people what steps it is taking to disrupt this ongoing criminal activity."

Earlier this week Stone said that “I do have a back-channel communication with Assange,” referring to WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, whose organization has been dropping documents online from Hillary Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta, and has been unloading documents from other Democrats as well. U.S. intelligence agencies last week declared that a connection exists between Russia and allegedly hacked documents leaked by WikiLeaks and others.

This action proves, the GOP has nothing else on Hillary. They're desperately scraping the bottom of the barrel now.

She will appoint Democrats to office. Republicans don't know the meaning of non-partisan.

On average, I've preferred having female supervisors. The least fairly I've been treated is by male bosses who clearly felt threatened by my accomplishments, skills, and intelligence. (It's not my fault I'm in the 99%ile of IQ. And I won't take any 'blame' for working hard.) My salary was always "fast track" so the 'earn less' is wrong in my experience.

As President, she should get rid of his ass.

He's a sexist pig, but thinks that he is above the law. He's dangerous.

Nice article though.
