What Democrats should do regarding Comey

Throw him under the bus as a political hack citing his donations to Romney and McCain. Also for his editorializing regarding the emails in the first place. Also for trashing the Clinton's for the whitewater nontroversy.

I don't see how holding him in any level of esteem helps them in this election.

They really have nothing to lose at this point in trashing him, which he deserves.

Backfire on you
Point repeatedly things that make look
Partisan, like the fact he advise the GOP before the democrat
Stay clear of calling the emails good or bad, make in justify his actions in even talking about them when nothing much is know

He needs to be exposed as a partisan hack, which he is. I don't know if subtlety will work.

Pushing the FBI to explain if they are looking into Trumps Russian ties and if not why not. At this point let's let others take down Comey. Spending the next week talking about "Hillary & emails" is what Comey wants us to do. Maybe Elisabeth Warren could ask Trump how he is going to defend himself against the charges that he Raped a 13 year old, getting under Trumps skin and letting him once again blow himself up is our best path.
