NBC (Oct 27th) - Vladimir Putin Praises Donald Trump, Denies Meddling in U.S. Election

What the media ignores while it continues to gin up an e-mail controversy. Trump might as well tout Putin's endorsement:

SOCHI, Russia — Russian President Vladimir Putin praised Donald Trump for energizing American voters "tired of the elites" while continuing to deny that the Kremlin has sought to meddle in the United States election.

"Is America some sort of banana republic? America is a great power. Please correct me if I'm wrong," Putin said Thursday, speaking at the Valdai Club, an annual gathering of Russian and international world policy experts. "Does anyone really think that Russia can influence the choice of the American people in any way?"

"Trump has chosen his own way of reaching the hearts of the voters," Putin said. "He is acting extravagantly, but not so pointlessly."

"He represents the interests of the part of the society tired of the elites that have held power for decades," he added. "He is representing the common people, and he is acting like a common guy himself."

If e-mails from both the Clinton campaign and Trump campaign were being released, then it could just be dismissed as hackers just trying to cause a ruckus. However, very few Republican related e-mails have been released, though we know that high level Republicans are occasionally hacked such as this e-mail from Powell criticizing Hillary Clinton:

So, even Republicans get hacked. I think the incredible discipline in not releasing e-mails related to the Trump campaign is troubling, because given the outrageous things Trump's campaign surrogates say publicly, you can only imagine the type of things they say privately.

Now, let's say Trump wins the Presidency, and a foreign actor is sitting on terabytes of information hacked from Trump? Already, Trump is going out of his way to be pro-Russian, but what happens if he deviates from script?

Put another way, what if a foreign actor had information that could result in a President getting impeached?
