CNN reporting that FBI found the emails weeks ago.

CNN is reporting as "breaking news" that the FBI found and knew of these emails weeks ago. So people are asking, and the question demands an answer (!), WHEN EXACTLY Comey knew of these emails, and if he learned of them weeks ago, then why send that letter a week before the election (we know what we believe but the public needs to hear it)! He is claiming that he was "briefed" on Thursday, which of course is vague language that doesn't tell us when the FBI learned of the emails.

what is there if they haven't even searched them yet? This is why we need answers. Did the FBI have them weeks ago (I think many believe they did) yet Comey decided to send a vague letter on FRIDAY to congress repubs? It would seem that the CNN and yahoo stories conflict but maybe the FBI knew there were emails on another weiner/ abedin laptop but haven't yet secured a warrant, which makes Comey's letter even more irresponsible.

He needs to be castigated for this and whatever punishment is appropriate for the FBI director trying to throw an election.

Of course we go out to vote and keep focusing on the gotv efforts.

This whole election is so crazy that I can't even begin to describe it.

I just heard that the Republicans were informed about this weeks ago and now I just read this on CNN.
