Stopped watching long ago

Networks until the day after the election. Work around the house. Winterize your cars. Do arts & crafts. Read a book. Do anything you can to take your mind off this election and you will feel better.

The goal of MSM these last final days before Election Day is to rile you up by making it seem like this race is close. It ain't. So why get your blood pressure up. Chill. Take a break. Vote early. Put it all behind you. We all need to get on with our lives. We need to conserve our energies for the Repug onslought that is coming after Hillary makes history and becomes our first woman President.

Think nice thoughts - like Trump's empire & brand will crumble and we won't have to listen to his and his campaign people's lies anymore. Think about all the behind the scenes books that will be written by them to describe just how insane Trump really is.

Like Sesame Street. Very low stress.

CNN lost me when they continue to employ Lewandowski, a known and paid Trump operative.

He referred to him as "Donald Trump's friend, Joe Scarborough," speaking it with a certain twinkle in his eye.

I guffawed out loud.

He seemed quite amused by the fact that Scarborough was used for the new Daisy ad the Clinton campaign put out. You just know he and his co-workers had a good laugh about it that morning.

I switched to New Day last week. So far, I really respect what Cuomo is doing. We'll see if it holds up.

I do wonder what people expected different and why they torture themselves, but who am I to say anything?

I've often wondered why we as progressives/liberals/Dems watch that tripe. I'll admit that I turn it on now and again. I think it has to do with the fact that it is on MSNBC and many of us watch the evening programs. My tuner is often set on that channel at night since I go to bed after watching Rachel or even the 11th hour (which isn't very good). So, when I wake up, get my coffee, and sit down before work the channel is on MSNBC.

I have rarely heard any Dem say they actually enjoy the show. I guess the ratings are up because we all watch it for the same reason I described above. But, I have begun to turn it off and watch CNN or anything else. Local morning programs are horrendous (I'm in Alabama), so CNN is usually my go to. It's not half bad. Better than Mika and Joe.

I encourage all of us to stop watching that tripe. That is the only way that MSNBC will find another program for the morning.

It serves as distant, slightly irritating background noise in the mornings when I'm here at the computer in an adjoining room. I note that my wife seems to be getting a belly-full of it, though---more and more morning sports shows turning up on the big TV.

I'm amazed at the amount of posts about this show.

Beginning to think Repubs have infiltrated DU just to advertise for this horrid show.

And attacking Harold Ford for disagreeing with them. How these two people who carried on a secret affair for years can question anyone's integrity is amazing. They have clearly sold their soul to Trump either for a place in his administration or a show on the future Trump TV channel.

I can't stand it. She is arguing with not brain.
CNN is just as bad because they put proTrump folks in to fight with pro Clinton.
