Comey's letter corrupted the electoral process and shifted advantage to one party. That's not okay, but we need LESS interference with our electoral process, not more. I have already written and asked him to resign.

But pre-election statements about Trump's involvement in order to influence, or perhaps "balance" the influences on the election, will not be made. As it happens, the White House is speaking to this right now. The independence of the FBI from political influence will be scrupulously observed.
