I don't have much faith in the media. They go where the "story" is...I guess if they think it's a big enough scoop, they'll go. Not sure it's about morals or anything like that....

(23,297 posts)People have lived extremely long lives, over 100 years, and never seen a Cubs victory- e.g. born 1910, died 2014. We are still alive and may see that tonight. If you are a baseball fan at all, that is really something.

(348 posts)I don't think it matters much that the world series is happening. The cable channel are in a politics only bubble right now. They will take a breath to report on the world series and that's it. Back to politics. The amount of non-political stories ignored over the past 4 months is astounding.
