I wish people would stop with all the doom and gloom. Get excited...we are taking this mutherfu@ker down and his deplorables. We aren't handing over this country because of some damn emails....Get out the fucking vote...post on social media...remind people who Trump is and what's at stake...but keep your doom and gloom to yourself...

(1,474 posts)Sorry not to be all Kumbaya-singing about the fact that securing the House -- which felt somewhat realistic a coupla weeks ago -- is now a fantasy, and the Senate may be slipping away in the final days . That, in my humble O, is something to fret about.

(6,149 posts)DU should be a place where it's safe to say that you're scared. Especially if you're willing to pitch in and fight for her.
I get tons of gloom and doom e-mails that are designed to inspire me to donate or GOTV. Goodness knows I'm sick of the e-mails, but the discouraging news makes me want to fight harder. Move-On has a Hustle App that lets you send text messages to potential voters. A way to reach the millennials, a way to reach those without landlines. (I'm still trying to figure out how to use it.)
So, please respect the doom and gloom. It's a genuine feeling, not just a "concern troll". It probably was bound to happen. I promise you WHEN the numbers go back up, we'll be cheering. Right now, anything over 70% would give me warm fuzzies.

So no, most of us here are not worried at all. Just amused AT the doom and gloom, not frustrated by it.
This is the Internets. It should be expected.
