Trump has given America a great opportunity

Hear me out, folks...

I would like to praise Donald Trump for giving this fine country a great opportunity. For the first time in a while, we have the opportunity to elect ignorance, xenophobia and apathetic contrarianism for president. However, he has also given us the opportunity to reject said negative qualities.

Other countries have elected people that tapped into nationalist anger, Germany and Italy being the best examples, but look at more recent elections. Greece's neo-Nazi Golden Dawn party has been gaining in popularity, having won several parliament seats. Marine le Pen of France's National Front party also has many followers. Silvio Berlusconi was a rich outsider in Italy who promised to change the establishment, but he left Italy in debt and threw the famous Bunga Bunga parties.

Tomorrow, America has a chance to reject the kind of ignorance and negativity those others ran on. We have the opportunity to elect a liberal woman, help immigrants integrate and secure our social safety net. So get out there and show the world that America rejects xenophobia and hate, and embraces compassion and reason.
