(44,973 posts)According to Cuyahoga's board of elections, Cuyahoga is down,not up.
"Pat McDonald, director of the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections, announced Monday afternoon that early voting is down 15 percent, compared to 2012. This includes a 34 percent dip in vote-by-mail requests made by Democrats and a 4 percent uptick in those made by Republicans."

"I originally expected it to be a little higher I expected it to be a little closer to 2012 but we also did have the elimination of golden week," said Pat McDonald, director for the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections. "We did see an uptick over the weekend so maybe that is a trend that we will see tomorrow. ""
