Do you think there is anyone in the GOP who could convince Trump to concede if/when he loses?

Is there anyone he would listen to? Maybe Newt or Rudy? Admittedly, Rudy seems a bit challenged in the cognitive area, lately, but there must be someone who could get through to him. Maybe his kids, in order to preserve some shreds of their brand?

This is why I am so hoping for a wide, wide margin.

He already has, no question, but if he came out and gave a pretty positive, eloquent concession speech, it'd probably help repair some of the damage he's done to his brand, and his kids' brand. Then time, maybe, would do the rest of the repairs.

...cut the Trump cord, though, considering the definition of scion -

Unlike Trump Hotels, a collection of 14 luxury properties worldwide that launched in 2007 with nightly rates beginning at $700, Scion, which means “descendant of a notable family.”

Substitute 'notorious' or 'ignoble,' and we're onto something.

. . .but he's trump. If he sticks to his modus operandi, he'll move on alright, proclaiming victory as he goes.

I envision him refusing to concede, threatening to sue a dozen states on some bogus grounds, blustering for awhile, and then giving some lame excuse for not actually challenging any results in court. Off he'll go to some "next thing," but as he goes, he'll keep saying,

"I won that election, and I'd have won if I challenged in court, I just decided I had better things to do... but I won."

NARRATOR:
But with damning evidence of racial discrimination, the company was forced to settle. Nevertheless, Donald didn’t admit any wrongdoing and even declared the outcome a victory.

TONY SCHWARTZ:
This is a classic example of where Trump begins to demonstrate something he talks about all the time today, which is he’s a counterpuncher. So somebody comes after him and says that he’s done something nefarious and horrible, and he just goes back at them with all guns blazing — you know, Boom, boom, boom! — and admits nothing. Never admit anything. Never say you made a mistake. Just keep coming. And if you lose, declare victory.

And that’s exactly what happened there. He lost as clearly as you can lose, but he loudly proclaimed his victory.

She knew what she was doing when she married him... but that was back when she married him. He'd never been a loser (in his eyes) at the time so he was a plain old narcissist, not a foiled and defeated narcissist.

I'm also concerned about her mental and emotional safety if she's alone with him at the end of tomorrow night. I hope he wouldn't hurt her physically, but if she has to bear the brunt of his anger it's going to be awful for her.

Now if the Republican Party wants to continue their decline they will let Trump throw his inevitable temper tantrum.

I would like to see the Democrats go ater the Republican Consent Decree and get is tied to the Republicans' necks for how ever many years they can get tacked onto it.
