As we shatter that final Glass Ceiling...

In just a matter of hours now, Hillary is going to shatter that last glass ceiling.

It has been a long and brutal fight and I am not just talking about the past year. We have been fighting to get to this moment for our entire lives, for our mothers lives and our grandmothers lives. Women have been held back and held down since the dawn of civilization.

When that ceiling finally comes down on a crisp autumn night in November, I will cherish the moment until the day I die. I know that I will weep, but they will be tears of joy.

Many men have walked beside us as we have made this journey. I don't want to dismiss them, but right now I just want to say something to all the women that helped to get us here.

To all the women out there. To my generation of the boomer women, to those who came before us and whose shoulders we stood on to reach ever higher and to those younger than us who inspire us to fight on....You each made a difference. You fought for and taught those that would come after you. You inspired us as we inspire the girls and women who will follow us. You never gave up and you never stopped fighting. Neither did Hillary.

Hillary represents us all. She carries a small piece of each of us inside her heart and I know that I carry her determination and spirit in mine. #ImWithHer I always have been and I always will be.

I love you Madam President and I love all the women that helped get you here. We are indeed #StrongerTogether.

was very excited when Obama was elected. She never dreamed it was possible.

This isn't quite the same, but I think she's excited.

I think I feel the same way. I never doubted that we could shatter the glass ceiling. There are women rulers everywhere. Years ago there was Indira Gandhi. And of course, Margaret Thatcher.

In Israel, men and women fight side by side. In most civilized countries, women are getting respect.

But, I feel that this is your moment, as we had ours 8 years ago.

Enjoy it, and then make it happen again and again. Let us be judged by our capabilities.

I think it's because they are jealous that I am a positive type person.

It's also good to have friends on MIRT. Thanks to all our troll hunters that are working overtime right now!

We all made a difference. I belong to the generation when women had to fight to wear pantsuits (yes! pantsuits) to the office. When no matter what our position in a company, we were still expected to make coffee. When you were looked on with scorn when reporting workplace sexual harassment, and were often fired, or "reassigned." When I was ordered to give up a big account to a man, because "he needs the money."

We've made this journey together, we women. We still have a road ahead (income inequality, hello!), but with the glass ceiling that will be shattered tomorrow, we're making incredible progress.

I will be a sodden mess tomorrow.
