Never seen lines like this. This is a good sign. The cities are going to kick Trump's ass.

(249 posts)Hampton Roads is the "seven cities" and includes Hampton, Portsmouth, Newport News, Suffolk, Virginia Beach, Norfolk, and my hometown of Chesapeake. (7,633 posts)we had way more people than usual this morning at the polls. My wife reported she actually had to wait in line (never happened before). I already voted absentee in person weeks ago since i am working today for the GOTV efforts.

(7,633 posts)is that there was so many people that they were using another table for people to fill in their ballot. That table did not have privacy partitions so you would be seated next to somebody else filling your ballot. She did not mind but this may intimidate other people.

(9,230 posts)I got there 35 minutes before opening. By opening the line was snaking around the school. It was harder to get out than to vote as the lot was jammed. From my vantage point I could see the rec center also packed like sardines.
You are right about cancelling those votes. It's a shame too.
