I don't live in one (solid Dem district in a red state, many Dems run unopposed) so I wouldn't know

Waukesha County. It is red, but a more college educated, higher income area, a suburb of the greater Milwaukee area.

Callers said long lines at Midlothian middle (or was it High school) but the registrar said they had normal lines.
Text from Glen Allen high saying 65 minute wait.
We vote at a school basically in our neighborhood (about 65% R voting history) and I drove by to see if any Trump knuckle draggers were there. Didn't see a line at all. Haven't heard from my wife on how long it took. I voted absentee before Halloween.

(12,051 posts)about 6:45 and there were 50 people ahead of me and the parking lot was full. When Mr Nay voted at 10 a.m. it was the same. I just drove past at 11:30 and it's still about the same. It is not as busy as it was for Obama's first run in 2008, I don't think. But I saw many AA neighbors in my line, and I'm assuming they're mostly for Hillary.
I can hardly wait for it all to be over with, frankly.

(17,276 posts)They were doing brisk business, most people looked cheerful and excited--a holiday atmosphere, as normally for a Presidential election. Didn't wait in line long.
