2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumIn 10 years at this residence, never had crowds/lines before..
I went to vote earlier but there was a car line to get in. Figured I would come back after everyone else was in work. So I did but the crowds were still there.
Came back again later. Had a guy walking back to his car putting on a Trump hat give me a smile, nod, and thumbs up. I'm assuming since I am a bearded, tattooed, middle aged white guy on a motorcycle that he mistakenly thought I was one of his ilk. I gave him the thumbs up back and said "I'm with her!" He lost the smile quickly.
I'm in NJ which is blue, but in a very Republican area. Lots of old white guys but loooooooooots of women as well so.....anyone's guess. I'll be curious to see what the overall number of people voting are.
Editing for clarification. He didn't have the hat on inside. He was putting it back on as he was walking to his car which was next to my motorcycle and far away from the building. Nobody I saw was breaking any rules or laws. Sorry for the confusion.

(13,305 posts)I would have thought, but no. I confirmed with my wife as well.
Here's to hoping for a huge turnout this year. If America breaks 2008 turnout. Whoot!
