http://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2016/11/7/13546830/pantsuit-nation-hillary-clinton-election-secret-private-facebook-groupA private Facebook group created a little over two weeks is rallying its more than 1.3 million members to wear the Democratic presidential candidate signature look a pantsuit on Election Day....
Now that its membership has ballooned, the community has evolved from a place to coordinate Election Day attire into a place where members (of all genders and political parties, according to founder Libby Chamberlain) not only rave about their chosen candidate, but also provide moral support each to other in the face of what many feel is a hugely stressful run-up to voting day.
We share stories about our grandparents, our children, and our families, Chamberlain said. We support each other during this highly contentious election season and have created a refuge from the vitriol that is sweeping the nation. Administrators encourage members to adhere to the go high mantra made famous by first lady Michelle Obama, and so far, she says, the response has been astounding....
The result is exactly the social media community that many Clinton supporters say they have been craving. In the thousands of posts and comments in the group, members rave not only about their enthusiasm for her, but about being inspired by the community, and finally having a place to post where they wont have to debate or be harassed or criticized by friends and family.

No pantsuit for my male self, obviously . Besides, I already voted. But I am loving the female-to-male ratio in there! Kathy Valentine from the GoGo's popped in yesterday!! Too bad the threads get so long so fast I can't keep track of them.

I can't believe how it's exploded in just weeks. I'm incredibly touched by the posts in which women especially, but some men, too, reveal how they've been afraid to express themselves in the area where they live or in their own family and how much this private group has meant. Private groups like this are maybe the best thing about Facebook.

(1,151 posts)5. It's so wonderful to read's someone story and see a million comments underneath, ALL positive.
No one spewing bile and hatred on the poster, on Hillary, on anyone who responds. It's a breath of fresh air.

And why is HRC always smiling in recent photos? I sure as hell wouldn't be smiling if I had just tanked the election to that!
