what a douche
Gergen brings the conversation back to reality, positing that it indeed might be the Hispanic vote that nails the vampires to their coffins.....forget Virginia, Michigan, and New Hampshire
why not New York, too, fatso?

I swear, next they will say Trump has a chance at New York since he lives there. Insanity.

(24,396 posts)Lots of imaginary roads to 270, thinking that an overall big voter turnout might help him when it always means Ds are winning.
I'm staying away from their fictions. The TV is off! I'll trust DU to let me know what's really happening.

(264 posts)They mess with the map to create different paths to 270.
It's a poor attempt to create excitement and uncertainty.

(879 posts)and he was the guy playing with the touch screen that accidentally circled Virginia, I don't think he was saying Trump would win Michigan or New Hampshire.
He prefaced the whole conversation with saying Clinton feels great about Nevada and Florida, so give those to her, and we'll see how narrow Trump's path is. Give him all the other swing states, and he is still way behind. But even if he flips Michigan, he's still behind. He would actually have to flip Michigan and Pennsylvania.
It's still annoying because they do this "hypothetical map" game where they essentially give Trump all the swing states. But I think the larger point is it is looking great for us in Nevada and Florida, which basically ends the election.

nary a gainsay from Erin Burnett, talking to the giddy reporter
it's more democrat than republic, registration wise, so they're playing up its importance, even though it went to Romney
