My daughter took my 9 year old granddaughter with her to vote.

Her Facebook entry:
"Today my daughter and I walked hand in hand from the house to the town hall and 'we' voted. I want her to remember this."

When she was in school, I waited until she was out so she could come with me. It's so important to instill a sense of civil duty while they are young.
