The world just rocked a bit when two Electoral College members refused to vote for Donald Trump – even though their states went for the billionaire. On Fox News’ new show Tucker Carlson Tonight the show’s host interviewed them about the movement they started called “Hamilton Electors.” But can they really do that? Could Hillary Clinton really win this way?

This also gives us a chance to start an electoral reform movement on a national scale.

Given a choice between evil and EVIL. Conservative that he is, I doubt if Kasich would have Bannon and Sessions in tow.

... bizarre reason that only Trump could "understand" with his low attention span, low information and vindictive brain.

One elector is from Colorado and one is from Washington...neither of which went for Trump, so I'm not sure where the so-called "defection" comes in.

And as I pointed out yesterday, Congress can reject any electoral vote if they so choose. It's a messy, time-consuming process, but you can bet that if there are in fact faithless electors, that's exactly what will happen.

And I can't find it this morning, but I read somewhere yesterday that in Michigan, faithless electors are replaced before the vote is finalized. I'll see if I can find a link.

And that the majority voted for him? That would have shut that moron's mouth and his claim that not voting for trump was "undemocratic"

Congress has the ability to object to and reject every single electoral vote.

A faithless elector who is pledged to Trump but then votes for Clinton (or anyone else) will have his or her electoral vote challenged, and most likely, rejected as invalid.

I stand corrected. The Republicans in the House and Senate could toss the votes. I didn't know that.

"Electing" Clinton would just be a protest vote by the electors at best.
