The cliff notes version is ballot scanners had feed problems and some ballots had to be run more than once. The possible outcome is that some ballots may have been counted more than once.

Since this is in blue Detroit, this could have given Hillary extra votes.

Nothing stopped the popular vote from winning, except for the EC which did not align with traditional voting practices. I think the bullshit with the FBI did not help nor did 13 completely bullshit investigations while HRC was running for office.

What really went wrong is we have a corrupt system that needs a huge overhall. The entire system.

Nobody forced HRC to have a private email server in her own home. Nobody forced HRC to do speeches for six figures. Nobody forced HRC to solicit donations to her own private charity from the same people that would benefit from her becoming president.

The optics looked bad because there was a reason for them to look bad. Maybe you will explain away why nothing I bring up matters. But tell the average person you know a candidate for president is going to do a series of speeches. And each one brings in more more money than they earn in a whole year.. Now tell them in no way is it a pay to play scheme that is essentially a bribe for access. Go ahead and tell me how many average voters think something is fishy. And oh yeah, tell them that this person is for the little guy.

But I'll be the first to say that the Comey letter was devastating and unnecessary other than to cause damage to Hillary's campaign.

We barely lost the Presidency. We picked up seats in the House and the Senate.

It sucks that we didn't win. But we'd be foolish to react as if we got blown away. Because we didn't.

Does that imply our voters got out for the senate/house, but they just were not enthusiastic enough to vote for the presidential candidate?

In some of the swing states, our other candidates under-performed Hillary.

But we did pick up seats this election, so it would be foolish for us to assume there was a wholesale rejection of our party.
