got the rates back up to 39.6%, not 37%, and how the ONLY thing they compromised on was going from $250K to $450K. He disagreed with Trumpka's opposition!

I was critical of what the President was willing to sing off on to get a deal done earlier, but this is absolutely a deal that is commiserate to the cards he was holding.

The 600,000 number with a split on the rates was flat bad, alone, outside of the chained CPI.

But, it literally is a bone to go to 400,000/450,000 with the Clinton rates to get everything else and not jack with SS.

Good deal, and it HAD to get this point.
