The prospects of a proposal to rig Michigans electoral votes in favor of Republicans took a nosedive on Tuesday as Gov. Rick Snyder (R) came out against the plan this year.
Snyder had previously been considering the plan to shift Michigans presidential system from a winner-take-all system to divvying electoral votes by congressional district.
However, in an interview with Bloomberg, Snyder backed off, saying he was very skeptical of the idea, noting it would change the playing field so its an unfair advantage. He finished by saying, I dont think this is the appropriate time to look at it.

OP
Oh yeah. I'm sure the time will be once the Mich legislature presents it to him to sign

And if he's really opposed to it, It's certainly not because he thinks electoral rigging is unfair

just like that P.O.S. did with the right-to-work bill.

it's because it could backfire on the GOP.

Preferably after the voter registration deadline."
When it's too late to do anything about it.
