Calif. gov rips Perry's Texas ad as 'barely a fart'

USA Today
In the battle of California vs. Texas, score one for Gov. Jerry Brown of the Golden State.

The Democrat had some choice words about a $24,000 radio ad buy from his Texas counterpart, Rick Perry. In the spot, the Republican criticizes California's business climate and encourages companies to "check out" the Lone Star state.

"It's not a serious story, guys," Brown told California reporters this week. "It's not a burp. It's barely a fart."

If Perry wants to get his attention, then Brown suggested the Texan should pony up $25 million on TV and radio. "Then I'll take him seriously," Brown said.

Why would any California media outlet approve any advertisement to send jobs out of the state? The radio station that allowed this to happen should be blasted continuously and their sponsors should be blasted too.
