TX constitutional amendment to end GOP tax/fee double-talk

Rep. Richard Raymond of Laredo told an Austin television station he plans to reintroduce a state constitutional amendment to end the big GOP/Tea Party lie: Calling "taxes" a "fee." If you live in Texas and like to drive, fish, hunt, etc., then you've noticed that Rick Perry's magical land of lower taxes never existed. In the name of "fee adjustments" and expensive, new toll roads, our taxes have steadily gone up. Evidently Raymond has not yet reintroduced the amendment, but here's a link to a 2010 piece at his website:
