It might take the near-extinction of the GOP to get certain legislation passed. The more elections they lose from continuing to alienate the growing demographic of Latino- and Asian-American voters (among others), the sooner this might occur.

It seems they can dish it, but can't take it

And they can't accept it

they CONTINUALLY blame President Obama for them acting like jackasses, while self indignantly screaming about how resolute and tough conservatives are.

And, the "liberal media" just breathlessly parrots how it is the President's fault they act like jackasses.

You know, cause he won't invite them over for tea ...

Of course, I don't think that they were ever really serious about this whole endeavor anyway and have been looking for an "escape hatch" from day one so that they could make it seem like they are doing something productive- to attract Hispanic voters- and to (eventually) "save face" with their base by bailing and blaming President Obama. I bet that this is it for them.

The problem is they seem to always want the president to put out a plan before they do, and when he does, they complain, but they NEVER seem to put out any "real" plans of their own. Of course that could be because they don't have the brains to actually come up with anything that might work to fix the country, they only seem to come up with ideas to help the rich get richer!

They constantly want to start over with that danged "blank piece of paper" that they never fill out. I'm still waiting to see them introduce their "bold" plan to cut Medicare and Social Security but they're sitting around waiting for President to put out his plan to do that- so that, of course, they can go back to their constituents and denounce it and pillory the President and Democrats over it. They decry the lack of leadership from President Obama, the Senate, etc. while refusing to lead themselves at the same time. HYPOCRITES!

In once small instance he told the truth. The GOP will not playball with Obama not matter what and they will lose a certain voting block completely.

Yeah, keep on being obstructionist, you douches. Sooner or later, it'll come back to bite you in the asses.

What these jackasses REALLY hate is having to pass any immigration bill at all.

But, in their crazed minds, they think this is the one thing holding them back from winning the Presidential election, so they HAVE to pass someone.

There is no mystery as to what immigration reform has to be. There might be some details that vary, like how long it takes to earn citizenship. But, any immigration reform package is going to look mostly like the next.

What they REALLY WANT is for the President to not saying anything, hide in a cave, and have Rubio be the front man for it so they can scream about how the GOP got it done and Rubio was the leader of it, while getting him on the ticket in three years.

All politics, all the time, with these scumbags.
