Get the fuck on the phone and make some calls. Write letters.

Let them know to keep their hands off of Social Security. The same for President Obama.

Tell them to keep chained CPI away from Social Security. Instead push for CPI-E. It is the Elderly version of CPI which takes into account the cost of health care. If at the same time they do more to help reduce health care costs especially for the elderly the increase in monthly Social Security income will be minimized.

Make sure any of your relatives and friends that are currently or will soon start to receive Social Security do the same. And make sure the rest understand the differences.

Personally President Obama should keep his mouth shut and don't even think about any reduction of Social Security benefits directly or indirectly.

We really need to know who the hell is telling the President that this is a good idea.
