Romney Visits Factory Closed Under Bush, Blames Obama

you can't make this shit up.....

It seemed like the perfect political setting for Mitt Romney. A shuttered dry-wall factory in Lorain, Ohio — a swing state hit hard by the recession – where four years ago then-candidate Obama promised to turn-around the economy.

“It would have reopened by now but it’s still empty,” Romney said, standing in the middle of an empty warehouse floor. “It underscores the failure of this president’s policies with regards to getting the economy working again.”

The only problem? The factory actually closed in June 2008, seven months before Obama took office. And during the Obama administration, unemployment has actually fallen in Ohio from 8.6 percent in January 2009 to 7.6 percent in February 2012.

“If Mitt Romney wants to convince the American people that he will ‘tell the truth,’ he might want to start by ending his deceptive rhetoric on the campaign trail,” said spokeswoman Lis Smith, in a statement.

They were interviewing who I assumed to be a managerial type of that factory and he said it was a VENTURE CAPITAL company that shut it down! He said a VC company came acquired a few factories and worked their magic and they were all shut down.

I'd LOVE to know the name of that company!

Why isn't this being pursued??

I mean, who is driving that bus? I gotta wonder if it isn't someone in the pay of some of Mittens' enemies....

Between his steady stream of idiocy and the campaign's poor decisions it's like they are setting out to lose on purpose or something. Hard to believe it's due to incompetence of such high levels, almost like some fool candidates I've known who thinks they could win (as an unknown) a 14 county Congressional district against entrenched republican, with his novice (politically speaking) wife and best buddy running the campaign. The Mittens show is that bad. Wow.

they are balls out, fully embracing that Mittens can say WHATEVER the heck he wants and they just keep moving on.

They have no interest in reality, facts or reason.

They accidentally had Mittens accuse BO of what HE does/did, got called out on it, and in the spirit of Rove/Goebles, they said, COOL, we are just going to keep doing it!

The Obama administration counters that under their administration the economy has begun to rebound.

It sounds like they believe Mitt's lies.

Sometime between now and November, Romney or one of his surrogates will blame Obama for the debacle at the Kasserine Pass.

At this point it is more than apparent that Romney is TRYING to lose the election.
