The woman who apologized to Obama after first trashing Obamacare?

She had an op-ed in the Los Angeles Times which was later picked by other news sources.

She first did not like the plan. Then she lost her job. She and her husband started their own business and with two kids decided to skip on purchasing health insurance. When she developed cancer it was, of course, too late. But she could find treatment thanks to Obamacare that was aimed at people like her. (I am not familiar with all the details of the plan, I admit).

Can anyone find this op-ed? I don't think it was in 2009, probably 2010 or 2011.

I am still fighting the merit of the plan, and the presidency of Obama with some RWers.

We really need to use this, and other testimonials, like the one with baby Zoey, to hit back.

Just more evidence Obamacare is starting to work and it is driving the right wingers insane trying to repeal it. Glad to be of help. The struggle continues.

The icing on the cake is the link provided by JeffHead up above. Those wingnuts are unable to understand, nor do they care to understand, until it happens to them.

She was upset that Obama didn’t go after a single payor system?....Or because she didn’t bother to look into Obama’s plan well enough?

Either way, I’m certainly pleased with the fact that things worked out for her but surprised that she would go negative on his policy especially when you consider the alternatives the right wing repubs. offered.....Nothing!!
