Neo-nazis, gun nuts are friends of Wikileaks Party

21 Aug 2013 09:05 | by Nick Farrell in Rome

Julian Assange's Wikileaks Party has decided to back Australia's gun nuts and white nationalists as it tries to get a seat in the Senate ...

Many would have thought that Assange would head towards the Greens and other left wingers, because, after all WikiLeaks candidates in NSW include human rights activist Kellie Tranter. However Assange has surprised everyone by throwing in his lot with the far right.

These parties include the Shooters and Fishers Party and the white nationalist Australia First Party who are the sworn enemies of the left.

Australia First's policies include reducing and limiting immigration and ''abolishing multiculturalism'' . Its leader is Jim Saleam, is a former neo-Nazi who was convicted in the late 1980s of organising a shotgun attack on the home of an Australian representative of the African National Congress ...

He screams about freedom and transparency but supports the Pauls and other Nazi loving freaks. Hes no different than the rest of the right wing, act like you care about freedom until you have power then stop that freedom into the ground so that you dont lose that power.

If what you state was actually true, the Australian Greens would NOT be highly preferenced on our senate ballot. You don't know what you're talking about. Way to make yourself look foolish. Here is my evidence. Why do you have none?

http://www.aec.gov.au/election/downloads.htm

Greens are preferenced above the ALP (Democrat love buddies) and the Coalition (Republican servants).

There is a lot of interest because of some of the preference deals are with minor right wing parties (who are usually inconsequential) in line with the Wikileaks Party principle of avoiding the left right dichotomy.

Some policies are - action on climate change (not just recognition of the scientific consensus), cutting excessive red tape, treating asylum seekers with dignity in line with UNHCR conventions and of course a commitment to transparency, accountability and justice.

As if this party isn't fractured enough in the last two months, why don't we just alienate a substantial portion of the Southern/rural purple states, right before two extremely critical elections.

I am aware that different cultures have different views.

But reposting that headline here is reinforcing the stereotype that it portrays in a predominately American forum.
