Lohan, Clooney Share an Evening with Barack Obama

http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052702304811304577372352610538244.html?mod=googlenews_wsj

It's not every day that Lindsay Lohan and President Barack Obama gather beneath the same roof.

Saturday marks one of those rare occasions, when Hollywood glitterati descend on Washington for the annual White House Correspondents Association dinner.

The evening offers plenty of odd pairings, as journalists and politicos mingle with blockbuster movie stars and professional athletes. It's not uncommon to hear a cabinet secretary yuck it up with an A-list actor about baseball, or see a media tycoon trading recipes with a veteran senator.

Mr. Obama will also try his hand at stand-up in an annual exercise that is always parsed for political import. In past years, he has poked fun at his allies and opponents alike. In one famous dig, he joked about John Boehner's skin color to question the race of the perennially tanned House speaker.

Perhaps I should become a b-list celebrity and a habitual criminal and then maybe I can have dinner with the President.

What a stupid and dated tradition.
