How much does Christie's opponent weigh----her name is BARBARA BUONO, Democrat--it's about GENDER

Would men make fun of her if the weight amounts were reversed?-----well I am not sizeist----but I guess we could make a case against Republican men demeaning women because of their looks

The Democratic challenger running against Chris Christie says she isn’t making the Republican’s weight a campaign issue, yet released a letter from her doctor on Tuesday revealing that she only weighs 125 pounds.

“She has never smoked cigarettes,” Dr. Jeffery L. Carson wrote of state Sen. Barbara Buono. “Her diet is excellent. Senator Buono runs regularly and is physically fit.”

Carson’s letter, dated Tuesday, was published on the website PolitickerNJ.com. He said she weights 124.6 pounds.

Both Christie and Buono said during a debate last week that they would release medical records.

“In summary, Senator Buono is in excellent health and has no significant medical problems,” Carson wrote. “She is physically able to serve as governor of the state of New Jersey.”

Christie has acknowledged that he’s heavier than he’d like. He had lap band weight loss surgery earlier this year.

MSNBC’s Chris Matthews asked Buono in April if she would run make Christie’s weight a campaign issue. “Does that work in Jersey?” he asked. “Taking on the guy’s weight?”

“I’m going to run a campaign on issues,” she responded.

But last month, Buono appeared to use the “weight-card” against the New Jersey governor when she said, “Now I don’t know about you, but seeing Chris Christie frolicking on the beach is not going to drive me to go the shore.”

Its Medicaid - a completely different program. New Jersey has expanded Medicaid.

Plus medical care, and I bet Buono won't be helicoptering in to her son's baseball game.

Edit: I just looked at the photo.

This post is very misleading. Unless you did not watch or listen to the first debate. Both candidates were asked if they can release their health Recor. Stop spinning the facts.
I do not believe what you are claiming.
Also my advice to Buono, please do not make Chris Christie's weight a campaign issue, because many voters are overweight, and may find this approach offensive.
The weight approach worked against former Governor of New Jersey. Stick to issues. This post is not fair and balanced. Spinning talking points.
Both candidtes were asked to release the medical reports, and Christie hi,sef said he had no problem with it. So why crocdiles tears on Buono 's release? Grow up guys. This is not a game.
Tell New jersey why the governor endorsed Lonegan, and why he created 2 elections 20 days apart costing tax payers $20 million.
We could have had both election on same day to save tax payers from paying for elctions that are self serving. Thank you.
