By Josh Voorhees
If you're going to read one thing about Ted Cruz today, go check out John Dickerson's great take on the "populist egghead" here. But, if you're looking for something on the lighter side, the Des Moines Register has a softball Q-and-A with the Texan Republican for you here. In it, we learn Cruz's dream job ("starting point guard for the Houston Rockets" and his least favorite food (avocados). But the only thing you really need to know to be in on the million-and-one jokesor, I suppose, the same joke a million-and-one timesflooding Twitter today, is that Cruz's favorite movie is The Princess Bride:
Q. How do you unwind after a typical day at work?
A. Im a huge movie buff. Love watching movies. So well often go and watch a movie. Also play video games on my iPhone, far too much, my wife points out. And then just playing with my kids, spend a lot of time at the park, in the pool, in the aquarium with my girls, at the beach.
Q. And do you have a favorite movie?
A. My favorite movie is The Princess Bride.
All together now: Inconceivable!
