Matthews, Chuckie, Halperin, Susan Page and Ex Fox Anchorman Garrett.....All Discussing....

Pres. Obama's trip and tonight's Address....

Bunch of Beltway talking heads who all seem so very grim about Pres. Obama's address....
Seem like NOW they are asking "probing" questions, and not seeing anything
positive about this trip! They are sure anti-war now.....as opposed to 5 years ago!

That, plus Cup'a Joe calling Pres. Obama a Neo-Con...when it is Joe who has been a Neo-Con
for years on in!

Today must be opposite day!

1. Well, at least McCain seems happy with the trip: Sen. McCain: 'Good thing' Obama in Afghanistan

WOLF BLITZER: Meanwhile, some Republicans have accused the president of spiking the football, celebrating, when it comes to bIn Laden on this, the one-year anniversary of his death. Now one prominent critic is speaking out about this trip as well. Let's bring in our senior congressional correspondent Dana Bash. He's up on Capitol Hill. Dana, you had a chance to speak with senator John McCain a moment ago. What did he say?

DANA BASH: He had been very, very critical, Wolf, about the political ad that the president's campaign put out boasting about getting Osama bin Laden and also hitting Mitt Romney on that issue, but on this particular trip, John McCain was anything but critical.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

BASH: What do you think about the president's surprise, secretive trip to Afghanistan?

SENATOR JOHN MCCAIN (R), ARIZONA: I think it's a good thing. I think it's always good when the president goes to where young men and women are in harm's way, and I think that many of us who have been involved in Afghanistan are very supportive of the strategic partnership agreement which I'm sure he'll be talking about, and we think the agreement is good. We obviously would like to know the details.

BASH: Now, Senator, you have been very outspoken, very critical of what the president did recently, politically with an ad boasting about getting Osama bin Laden and hitting Mitt Romney for it. Do you think that this trip is also part of his political campaign?

seem like "gonna get Bin Laden" was ok with him then,
but somehow he wanted "got Bin Laden" to be off limit to Pres. Obama.

Guess McCain got the message that he wasn't helping himself any.....

He was being pretty neutral for a while but all of a sudden - 2/3 weeks ago, he got in his Rethug clothes again.

He thinks he knows every thing.

Wasn't there some rumor? story ? going around about JOE and some Intern?

I love the way the beltway press tries to make the Left mad at this President
whenever they aren't making the rest of the US mad at this President.

That's what Joe dead Intern was doing.......
as were the talking heads listed in my title header!

I don't understand why MSNBC has Susan Page on their programs to begin with.
She didn't like President Obama 3 years ago, so why would she like him now?

Matthews was all for the Iraq War back in 2004.
He admitted then that he was a lot more conservative than his own kids thought he was.
I don't even want to talk about him that much anymore.
I skip watching his program 4 days a week.

As for Joe Scarbrow, I just tune in to his program once in awhile for the laughs.
I like Mika, though.
