Palin Hopes Bashir's 'Unprovoked' Attack Won't Stop People From Starting A Business

TOM KLUDT – DECEMBER 5, 2013, 9:19 AM EST

Responding to the resignation of Martin Bashir for the first time, Sarah Palin said once again Thursday that she accepts his apology. She just hopes that the former MSNBC host's "unprovoked" attack won't deter people from embarking on various endeavors like starting a business or "changing within their family."

"My role is to accept his apology and be humble enough to accept it and move on," Palin said during an appearance on "Fox & Friends."

"But I just hope that unprovoked attacks like that don't result in people being hesitant to jump in the arena anyway, to get out there and serve the public or start a business or really commit themselves to changing within their family, their community, their world, doing whatever that they can, despite the fact that in this world, you are gonna be hurt and attacks will come your way. I just hope an attack like that doesn't make people hesitate."

Responding to Palin's comparison between the national debt and slavery, Bashir said last month that the 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee deserved to be subjected to some extremely harsh disciplinary tactics that were employed by a notorious slave owner.

I guess what she is saying is that she hopes that people aren't afraid to become public figures because they might be criticized? Well, if you can't stand the heat.....................

That's not even a sentence.

No wonder she dropped out of the U of H. They probably insisted she pass English 101.

It's the whole victim mentality.

After 50 years of meddling in Middle East politics to corner the market on cheap oil, 9/11 was an "unprovokedattack."

"I did nothing wrong" is their lament. It's bullshit, but that's what they spout.

She doesn't know the difference between Concord, Mass and Concord, NH; she thinks the british came for our guns. She is IMO irrelevant. She is a losing VP candidate who as time goes on keeps reminding us how pathetic a choice she was by Mr. Magoo. Really?? VP material.
