Tea party activist: White House will use AIDS to destroy Obamacare and bring on socialism

Tea party activist: White House will use AIDS to destroy Obamacare and bring on socialism

A tea party activist and author claims gay people are being enlisted by the Obama administration to destroy the health insurance system and usher in socialized medicine.

Jerome Corsi, who wrote widely criticized books about President Barack Obama’s candidacy and Secretary of State John Kerry’s military career, has been floating the conspiracy theory in a series of World Net Daily columns and in an appearance Dec. 30 on TheDoveTV.

“The Obama administration’s emphasis on enrolling the LGBT community in Obamacare strongly suggests it has an unspoken agenda of shifting to healthy citizens the extraordinary financial burden of providing services to the unique demographic, which is afflicted disproportionately by AIDS and other health issues,” Corsi wrote in a Dec. 25 column.

Corsi, who has claimed the Affordable Care Act will allow death panels to decide whether an individual deserves treatment, complained that medical costs for AIDS and HIV patients costs up to $500,000 a year – a cost that would be passed on to taxpayers.

“You’re going to spend a minimum of $30,000 to $40,000 a year just for the treatments to keep someone with HIV infection alive, and probably extending their life for 20 years is going to cost about a million dollars,” Corsi said on TheDoveTV. “Now that cost has got to be borne somewhere.”

Even though he cites a U.S. Department of Health and Human Service Department statistic that found one in three low-income LGBT people lack health coverage, Corsi found it suspicious that the Obama administration had made efforts to promote enrollment in that community.

“There were White House conferences, White House press releases, the White House supporting this group, Out to Enroll, I mean the White House has made a major push in the LGBT community to get LGBT enrolled in health care,” Corsi said.

And Corsi said these government press releases can mean only one thing — socialism.

“What Obama has done is create a situation where the costs of private health insurance are just extraordinary, so the solution to the one-pay solution after this private system crashes is that, yes, we’ll probably get a universal health care program medical paid by the government, one payer, but it’s not going to be very good (and) you’re not going to be able to do very much with treatment,” Corsi said.
The situation would eventually become so dire, Corsi warned, that people with life-threatening pre-existing conditions would wonder why they agreed to sign up for affordable health insurance coverage.

“Even the HIV/AIDS community is going to have to wonder if they’re going to be paid $30,000, $40,000 (or) $50,000 — up to $500,000 a year — for their treatments under a government system,” he said. “Eventually it’s going to become obvious that, you know, if you’re just trying to create an insurance that would meet the needs of the normal population, insurance companies have been doing it at an at-risk basis very effectively for decades.”

In addition to overburdening the health insurance system, the death panel alarmist said the Obama administration’s efforts prevented doctors from consulting with their patients and implied they possibly undermined religious liberties.

“When you eliminate at-risk so that everybody’s got to be covered and you can’t ask people questions that are embarrassing, I mean, it really is not even about pre-existing conditions except for this one group that does not want to get lifestyle questions asked, does not want to be penalized on health insurance because they’re going to live a lifestyle where the sexual activity of that lifestyle is still very highly correlated with a very infectious and very expensive disease: HIV/AIDS,” Corsi said.

He said Obamacare was designed to fail.

“It’s going to implode, and then the government will have to take it over,”Corsi warned.

If this guy told me the sky was blue and water was wet, I'd get a second opinion.

He's a liar, a shyster, and an all-around grifting piece of shit.

That will destroy the healthcare system completely!
Healthcare is for the healthy, doesn't he know that?
That's why it's called "health" care.
