MS GOP chairman thinks White Pride ties are unwise; Tea Party wants him to resign

for saying that outright racism doesn't go down well in the polls these days.

Oh, there's trouble, my friends, down there in Mississippi, where the conservative establishment suddenly has come to a belated realization that, occasionally, even in Mississippi (Goddamn), outright white-supremacy might be a losing strategy.

"I think he should clear it up as fast as he can," Nosef said. "Running for the United States Senate is a very important thing and as a party we need to always be careful and focused and serious about what our views are and what our interests are. And if Sen. McDaniel thinks that there's more to tell, to explain it, my thought as the party chairman would be, the sooner the better."

Ah, but that's only the appetizer for today's blue-plate special. The real, high-protein entree is the reaction of the local Tea Party folks, who are having none of this RINO-inspired appeal to keep the sheets on the beds where nobody can see the eyeholes.

The MS Tea Party also calls on Joe Nosef to rescind his comments on the Paul Gallo Show last week in which he insinuated that Republican candidate for U.S. Senate in Mississippi Chris McDaniel might cost the GOP a senate seat in the general election. It is inappropriate for Nosef to make such claims given his role as Chairman of the MS GOP. Accordingly, Joe Nosef should resign from his position as Chairman of the MS GOP effective immediately.Mississippi GOP bylaws call for MS GOP leadership to remain neutral during primaries. Nosef's behavior clearly violates MS GOP bylaws. With or without Nosef, the MS Tea Party strongly suggests the MS GOP observe and obey its own stated principles and admonitions against involvement in primaries."

(The original story:
State Sen. Chris McDaniel, who is challenging Cochran, had been listed as a speaker at the Combined Firearm Freedom Day/Tea Party Music Fest in Guntown, Miss., on May 17. Listed as a vendor at the rally is Pace Confederate Depot, a group that "deals in Confederate, Tea Party, and White Pride Merchandise," according to its website.
