Theory: Corporate raiders are licking their chops at the failings of the VA. PRIVATIZE

Wherever our tax dollars support a federal program, I believe corporate privatization looks for an opening.
VA problems have been going on for decades with little noise. Now its an issue?
Privatizing in whole or part spells millions of FED tax dollars for Corporations & their investors to sieze upon.

Like buzzards on a dying animal.

My observation only, but it is a pattern I watch with our public schools, law enforcement, prison systems and the chatter of privatizing our US Postal System & Social Security.

Could be paranoia playing out here but then...

Given the GOP propensity for privatization, letting the VA fail was likely their plan liberal N proud May 2014 #1

Setting the whole system up to be given to some private firm who would be more than happy to make the whole thing work for a nice price.

Saying, (unquote) that if you don't put Private sector money into this thing it will continue to fail. Private money will create competition & that is what the failing VA needs.

I see wheels being set in motion..

I suspect you are right. Let us hope we have the backbone to resist call for privatization this time.

Remember the foo-fer-raw at Walter Reed Hospital about treatment of our soldiers?

Once it was determined that the fault for the failings were basically founded in that part of the hospital that had been privatized and sub-contracted out, suddenly the M$M fell silent about the whole thing.

Yes, they definitely want to privatize the VA Medical. After all, it is what they hate the most, a successful socialistic medical plan.

How corporations & their foreign investors profit from our taxes, while themselves paying little to no taxes.
Privatization.
Its become their business model.
How do we reverse this when the game is so rigged against the US taxpayer? When global investors can reach right in & take what belongs to us?
