all the "local" stations say no one is even talking the Presidency....most folks don't even begin to think about who they're voting for until at least August or September....so, polls now, or even into late July early August don't even make me tremble. GOBAMA GOBAMA GOBAMA. edit for spelling that spell check didn't catch.

(29,716 posts)just across the Mississippi River in Dakota, MN.... so I hear ya, politics you're right ....but..... love my Packers, Brewers, Bucks and Wisconsin politics, and I'm giving to the GET WALKER out of office fund.

(34,857 posts)The point after the primaries and until the conventions start are pretty dead in terms of presidential politics. You'll see campaign rallies, of course, but most attention will be on summer planning, summer vacationing, and then most families preparing for the new school year by mid-to-late July.
One difference between this election & others in the past will be the SC's ruling on the mandate next month. That will be a politically charged issue that will garner a great deal of attention from Americans.
