I don't think he's all bad, and I don't blame him for what happened in 2000. He had every right to run. Gore ran an awful campaign, picked a poor VP, and couldn't even win his own state.

Not sure any of us could have predicted how things turned out in Florida. It was pretty unprecedented. When FLA happened, yea, it was easy to blame Nader, but Gore had a role in his own defeat.

Talking about how the left and right need to be on the same page. What a joke.

Why doesn't he run for something besides President? Work his way up, make some change along the way, build a record? You know, like normal people would.

in the vein of even a stopped clock is right twice a day, Ralph has hit on an answer.

If you can get the left and right to come together on big things (and mobilize, not just answer a poll) then the politicians have to pay attention. A recent exception could be the issue of gun control. You had 90%+ of the populace supporting some form of control, and yet it could not get thru Congress. But just because that one didn't work does not mean it will not work on other issues.

I will always resent Ralph for keeping Gore from becoming President in 2000, but he has still done a lot of good.
