Related: About this forum90 Pounds of Cocaine Found on Cargo Ship Owned by Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell’s Father-in
Though Foremost has played a pivotal role in McConnells life, bestowing the senator with most of his personal wealth and generating thousands in donations to his campaign committees, the drug bust went unnoticed in Kentucky, where every bit of McConnell-related news has generated fodder for the campaign trail. Thats because, like many international shipping companies, Chaos firm is shrouded from public view, concealing its identity and limiting its legal liability through an array of tax shelters and foreign registrations. Registered through a limited liability company in the Marshall Islands, the Ping May flies the Liberian flag.

Well this is interesting. Particularly with the Senate Minority Leader (and major Republican establishment crony) fighting for his life in the Kentucky Senate race.

(25,699 posts)90 pounds of coke is pretty piddly, in the scheme of cocaine trafficking. It's not tied to the ship's owner directly. What it probably is, is some small-timer who bought space from a member of the crew to stash the stuff.
Going after mcConnel over something his father-in-law doesn't really have a fingr in is a distraction from all the shit mcConnel himself has done - and also what he hasn't done.

(45,806 posts)What would the Pubs do if they found similar info about a Dem? I'm tired of the Dems always being beat because of lies or half truths being told about them, and the Dems always try to take the high road. Well, I think it's about time to dish their own kind of sh*t right back at them. Tell the story and see what the public believes.
