She's not stupid....but this is what money does in elections.

(51,698 posts)They look to see who is endorsing the prop. Sadly, no high profile folks came out in favor of 45, and the pro folks appear to have had no money, judging by the lack of yes on 45 ads.

(7,010 posts)I'm not really a Warriors fan, though, since they're about to move back across the Bay. I watch them sometimes when I'm looking for something on TV, but that's it.

(25,183 posts)That's why the industry opposed it, and they spent megabucks years ago back in Oregon (another blue state, mind you) to defeat it by playing divide and conquer with the voters.
This result does not surprise me. The insurance industry is completely full of discrimination, and they like it that way, makes them a lot more money charging people for crap that doesn't even affect their risk factors.
