I respectfully request he announce that he is now a Republican.
Lest this cause too many issues with the rest of the Party, let's have them switch over to "Republican" also.

Bonus: Since Congressional rules put "seniority" as super important for heading committees and such, things should be interesting, right?
How can they vote against themselves if there aren't two different parties?
Neither side has a purity test to join. We can instantly move the country into the middle because those places that will only vote one side can now choose based on candidate instead of now "non-existent" party.
Heads will EXPLODE! As President, I believe he would automatically be "in charge" of the party, right?
