I'm curious. How should I try to get her to make statements about police brutality and the erosion of voting rights. As an African-American, those are two of my big concerns.
Any ideas?

There needs to be more. "Fergusons" have continued, not decreased.
I need her to talk about what she will do if what Obama does is not enough. I need to see a commitment for follow-through. Yes, the election is two years away, but this isn't a problem that Obama can solve in two years.
This is REALLY important to me.

(6,150 posts)Im not sure how to communicate about my concerns, but I thought this might be a way. As a woman, I care about reproductive rights, especially birth control and abortion access, as well as equal pay and protection against violence. However, as an African-American, my concerns are about voting rights and job opportunities for ex-offenders, police profiling and police brutality, excessive sentencing, unfair sentencing, and the erosion of voting rights in the states.
Somehow, as an African-American, my list is longer, and its because the clock is turning back faster on African-American rights, than it is on womens rights. We dont have a strong enough voice. We are not 50% of the American population, our concerns are not those of white males in the same way that a womans concerns might be those of her mates.
I need a champion for the rights and needs of African-Americans, and I want to know if Hillary Clinton will be that champion.
Please let me know.
