A copy of my letter to Sen. Mark Warner following his TPP vote (yes)

I am disappointed that you voted to allow Fast Track authority to move forward even after your constituents made it clear that we do not support TPP. You should be ashamed of yourself. (This is what the form letter said).

Here's what I added:

I'm NOT JUST DISAPPOINTED, as the form letter states, I'M FURIOUS. I hope you don't plan to stand for re-election in the future. You're no Democrat. You're in the pockets of the greedy corporations who will benefit from your vote. We will all work hard to primary you and kick your rotten ass out of the Senate. Forever.

If there's nothing wrong with this treaty, why all the secrecy? I feel sorry for younger generations who will never experience what true democracy is because of traitors like you! They also will never be able to be truly proud they are an Amrican. All because of you and the idiot Republicans.

You make me sick to my stomach just typing this. I wish you a lifetime of ridicule (justly deserved) and unhappiness as you watch all this play out. All for what??? How much did it take???

You are beneath despicable.

Apparently, he's a "moderate" Democrat.

I love how these labels keep moving.

There was a committee vote on the TPA, which stands for Trade Promotion Authority. It delegates Congress to voting straight up or down on all trade agreements for the period of time that it is in effect. It does a lot more than that. I've posted analysis of it.
