I'm going to make a bold prediction

Whoever wins the democratic primary will win the general election.

The reason the 2000 election was so hard fought was that we all suspected that the demographics favor Dems to such a huge extent that until the Republicans dramatically shift on social issues, they won't win a national election.

I predict history will repeat.
