Loser for Liberty

http://www.loser4liberty.com/

“Our current government is not working for us. In fact, as citizens we are working to live within the boundaries of our government. Whenever a member of the two major parties is elected there is only one result and that is an increase in taxes and big government. It is time to send the two major parties a message by voting Libertarian. Libertarians believe in limiting government and allowing the individual to make their own decisions. As a Virginian, I am passionate about Creating Economic Opportunity, Ending Prohibition and enforcing Equal Treatment under the law. I am going to work hard to make Virginia a better place to live. Please allow me the opportunity to gain your support.”

-Carl R. Loser, Libertarian Candidate for VA Senate 10

I saw a road sign this weekend and had to look it up. According to an op-Ed in the local paper it IS pronounced like it is spelled and his supporters proudly do the L on the forehead thing. According to the Washington Post that race could determine tge Virginia State Senate - currently 20-19 Repub due to the giy getting offered a judgeship for his daughter and quitting. Loser may turn that Senate district Dem by taking away votes. Flip side he could win given the likely low turnout for a June election.

and this was the primary election announcement:

"Whinnar is the loser, and Loser is the winner"!

… and then a Dem won the general election.

A girl can dream, right?
