except for DA where Craig Watkins made ample mistakes to cause his own demise. The Mayor is non-partisan-probably a Republican but popular even among Democrats. Otherwise, the city is true blue

and the cities are definitely in play (or already there). Austin, Dallas, San Antonio and Houston went for Obama in 2012. El Paso in play. It's the rural areas that are killing us.

state teacher retirement. And we're lucky to finally be getting trains in Houston. He made that impossible for so long. Not one of my favorite people.
