Is Pennsylvania no longer a swing state?

Alex Roarty notes that "evidence is mounting" that Pennsylvania isn't a top target for Mitt Romney's presidential campaign.

"Understanding why the GOP candidate might be skeptical about Pennsylvania isn't difficult. A Republican presidential nominee hasn't triumphed there since George H.W. Bush in 1988, and, as mentioned, Obama won easily there four years ago despite a heavy investment of time and money from the McCain campaign. The state has more than a million more registered Democrats than Republicans, and an early May poll from Quinnipiac University found the president leading over Romney 47% to 39%."

Meanwhile, First Read moves the Keystone state from "Toss Up" to "Lean Dem."

Georgia was blue all my life until we became the first 100% electronic voting state and 'suddenly' went deep red.

Looking forward to blue, blue Fall in Pennsylvania.

Obama, GW, GW, Clinton, Clinton, HW Bush, Reagan, Reagan, Carter, Nixon, Nixon....the e-voting went in in 2002. In what way was Georgia always blue?

8. Georgia voted Democratic in the Presidential race for 123 years until 1996.

Democrats were still strongly in charge of the state until 2002.

That year it went solid red. 130 years of the party in Georgia was over.

Now, like many red states, they are changing the laws and eliminating voters to make sure it's never blue again.

4. Gov Corbett-R and state GOP House and Senate are creating alot of anger here

They tired to pass the ultrasound bill, Corbett stuck his foot in his mouth that women don't have to look
They're cut over 1 billion from public schools and universitys, this is causing daily protests across the state. Corbetts poll numbers are in the tank. His first few days in office he cut low income people off health care. He refuses to tax the fracking industry. His knick name is Toxic Tom. He's going to be a 1 term gov.

He can win without Ohio or Florida (not both), but winning PA is not optional.
