(9,033 posts)If he can't criticize the policies of the recent Democratic party, he can't open his mouth in the primary. What would be the point of that?

(6,145 posts)I keep hearing about how he's not Barack Obama and he can't overcome Clinton's lead. Last time I saw ANY candidate who could pack an arena with an enthusiastic crowd it was none other than Barack Obama.
I'm certain he'll continue to be marginalized in the media but he didn't look like an underdog to me. Not today.

I also loved his education of Republicans who he said had put up a banner in Wisc calling 'me an extremist'. Lol, and THEN he hit his stride, to huge applause from the crowd:
'Now, let me tell what is extreme' and he launched into their policies of denying people rights to a living wage, to jobs, etc. It was what ALL Democrats should do to Republicans.
I am so sick to death of how politely most Dems treat these EXTREMIST, KOCH Purchased morons who are destroying this country.
GO BERNIE. May we find hundreds more like him to replace those who are merely puppets of Corporations and care nothing for this country or its people.

It shows the talk of age is nonsense indeed. And ageist.

(41,132 posts)George S. asked about age. What a wonderful Barn Berner speech and magnificent night in Madison.
Seeing that great state under assault by Koch hounds in the last several years makes me livid.

He is speaking directly about youth unemployment, latino and african american unemployment, reducing the prison population, reforming the criminal justice system, raising the minimum wage to a living wage of $15 per hour. He also congratulates President Obama on raising overtime pay for federal workers. After that he goes on to attack the republicans' 'warped view of family values.'

(8,879 posts)rate was 53%. Twenty points higher than whites and maybe 15 higher than Hispanics. Economic justice is social justice as far as I can tell. Over 50% of young blacks who want work can't get work. It is a disgrace to our country. It is our national shame.

(1,253 posts)even though he's only been in the race for 2 months, and still has low name recognition. This is a thinly-veiled effort to smear him as unconcerned with the needs of POC. It is, of course, total bullshit as Sanders was LEADING anti-segregation protests in 1964, while Mrs. Clinton was still a Republican. Have a nice day!

(1,253 posts)LAUGHING at the HRC supporters who try so often to smear Sen. Sanders as somehow being unconcerned with, or unappealing to voters who are POC. Keep believing what you will, but I think that by the time we start voting in January you'll find Sanders has PLENTY of support from POC. Hillary currently kicks his but in name recognition, that will not be the case by January. Have a nice day.
