(62,325 posts)a political revolution is beginning to take shape. Several of the protest groups from over the past decade are getting behind him. Union members are joining his campaign, Millenials, a huge voting bloc, are solidly behind him.
Great night for the PEOPLE!

(9,387 posts)We must thank you for your wonderful work on education issues, madflo. Fierce advocates such as yourself, for our kids, are certainly worth their weight in gold. Feel the LEARN!

(8,879 posts)sexist, but it probably will, but I'm just going to go ahead and say it. Maybe it's the progressive glow or maybe it's just a product of excitement and energy, but dang, there were so many beautiful women at this event. (Men as well, I'm sure) I was like, dang, I keep nice company.
Also I was using my Bernie sign as a megaphone. Every time I would yell "FEEL THE BERN" or whatever, the 4 year old stranger sitting next to me would giggle. I gave him the megaphone and told him to make some noise. He gleefully giggled after he yelled "FEEL THE BERN." His mom took him to grab some nachos. When he got back to he seat he was so proud to tell me he actually saw Bernie Sanders! I told him I hope Bernie becomes our next president. The kid said, "I think he will." I loved it.

(15,139 posts)candidate dispenses with the usual b.s. and speaks honestly to ordinary citizens about problems that directly affect them. Bernie's that rare politician who "gets it," and people, starved for a leader who's on their side, are responding. It's wonderful to behold.

(14,574 posts)We're watching history being made here - seeing a tsunami of populist rebellion at its early stages. By the time the primaries get going the wave will be getting huge, and it will build momentum until the general election.
The talking heads will gape in dull surprise when it happens, and the corporate-owned politicians will gnash their teeth and telephone their donor overlords. The Koch brothers, the Waltons, Sheldon Addelson and other parasites will scream.
And Bernie Sanders will become the 45th President of the United States. When this happens, we have a real chance to become a government 'of, by and for the people!'

(7,321 posts)Gotta get him through the primaries big time. it's gonna be a 'david and goliath' battle, with HRC's Big Money backers.. but I'm starting to think it could really happen.

(88,117 posts)Problem is I am not on Facebook. Maybe someday. I am going to do some admin begging on her behalf soon. Was waiting until some stuff calmed down from a previous incident. I can not imagine Dinger being unkind or rude to anyone. It boggles my mind after 5 years. She would be such a great addition here.
It has to be the most ludicrous TS in the history of DU.

(5,400 posts)We are a large state, The Empire State, and you'll meet, and hear from, the widest possible spectrum of people. You will get many donations and supporters like myself will aid in your visit being an amazing success. Here in NY we are tired of the same old broken down excuses. People are very fed up, and your message will catch on.
